Have not seen this very often. A flash flood warning in the Philly metro before the rain really even begins.
A few spots north of I-10 got drenched yesterday, and downpours will continue to be possible into the weekend, perhaps even increasingly likely in a few more spots. After that? The heat will rev back up next week. Matt has details!

I've seen some absolutely ridiculous winter and tropical forecast nonsense the last week or so, trying to fit this El Niño into what they want it to be rather than what it is. So as is the case with me, I had somethin' to say.

So I’ve always told students to try to get their resumes down to one page and not overly dense with text. Does that rule still apply when HR is using AI to screen candidates? I genuinely am not sure what to tell students anymore because I don’t even understand it.
Gonna be a lot of people, even credible broadcast meteorologist types posting drivel about hurricane season maybe getting busy (it’s August) and potential for epic cold winter coming (it’s August). My advice to you is ignore and move along.

MLB still needs a centralized weather desk. (I know teams have services or staff mets, but they need someone making decisions from a desk in game that forces the hand of umpires. Like replay review)

Just want to thank you again for some of those very initial conversations from 2+ years ago that got us in the door.
