Sure, the 2024 election was one too, but 2026 might be the clearest intelligence test ever presented to the American electorate. Taken at face value, he's saying he stole hundreds of billions from the gov't, hid it somewhere Congress can't reach, and he pinky swears he will give you a piece. Really.

i mean, just look at how the populists talked about the railroad barons and others like them. "The fruits of the toil of millions are boldly stolen to build up colossal fortunes, unprecedented in the history of the world, while their possessors despise the republic and endanger liberty."

plenty of 20th century examples by my 19th century-pilled mind goes immediately to the railroads, which were HUGELY DISRUPTIVE and deeply enmeshed in politics in ways quite analogous to silicon valley and AI
