I don’t know what any of that means but in our 🇳🇴 house I paid a fella about £2k to drill a hole in the wall, fit it, plug it in and it’s our primary heat source for the house at -20 outside

It would be quite nice if the Cheltenham @libdems.org.uk council in my town would allow me to fit an A2A heatpump in my all electric home in a tiny retirement community so at least one house of the 11 (with 4 over 90yr olds) had air con in which people could cool down @maxwilkinson.bsky.social

There needs to be an important discussion about the use of Open AI in the Norwegian higher education sector. Many organisations use Open AI via the University of Oslo. In due course I will contact @uio.no to ask how they will respond to this development.

A 16 year old San Antonio kid was essentially killed by a football coaching staff during an offseason workout. Players were subjected to punishment drills and repeatedly noted the distress of their teammate, to no avail. After he collapsed, the rest of the team was compelled to continue the drill.

Only since I’ve started doing work on brain injury and sport have I been called an activist (multiple times), which tells me I’m finally doing something worthwhile with my research time, and I’m probably doing it right.

I used to think I was a vampire but on reflection I might not be.

I don’t know why more stand up comedians don’t just take up university lecturing. It’s basically crowd work with references.
