I didn't like Metroid Dread, so this new one doesn't look like it will be for me. I just don't care for how Mercury Steam makes Metroid games.
Ok, the Super Station has earned its keep. Ain't no way I'll ever find a Sailor Moon arcade board, and if I did I imagine it will be stupid expensive. At least with this I can play it.
Got my Super Station One in! Don't have a ton of time to mess with it now, but physically it seems really nice so far. Very solid, very nicely made.

Dolly Parton's death is hitting me hard. She's like a legend in Tennessee. We all grew up hearing about her and all the good she's done. The world is a better place for for having her in it, and she will be missed.
Some people might not be aware, but it is entirely possible that without Dolly Parton we wouldn’t have had a COVID vaccine. She partly funded Moderna’s research and gave the largest individual contribution to make it all happen. Just gives you an idea of the kind of person she was.
My manager found out I'm building a custom arcade cabinet and his response was, "You should ask AI to give you instructions" Why on earth would I want that? It's a hobby project. The whole point is learning and taking my time. Spending hours reading or watching videos about it is half the fun.

Sometimes my body likes to remind me that I did have pretty major surgery not that long ago. I'm doing great most of the time, but if I push myself a bit too far I really feel it. I've heard from other folks with similar hernia surgery say it takes about year to be fully back, and I had 3 of them 😭
Eh, I think I'll pass on this one. That is one jank looking Dragonzord. What is it with Playmates not being able to transform their toys correctly? Not even in a Kickstarter where you'd think they'd be extra careful.
I feel like this summarizes my experience with Tomodachi Life pretty well.
I hate buying used games on ebay. The listing will be like "Game CIB, Mint Disc! PERFECT CONDITION" Then it gets here and looks like someone ran it over with a lawn mower and then let their dog poop on it. It's like we're getting the old MySpace angles with disc shots to hide the damage.
And now the arcade has a new bezel and art! I'm going to have to tackle that control panel sooner than later.
That marquee really makes it feel like it's getting there! Not a whole lot left to do at this point. The control panel is the biggest remaining item.

The Odyssey might be the first time I've sat through a 3 hour movie and thought that it probably should have been about an hour our so longer. i really enjoyed the film, but I felt like it really had to rush to get through the story. A bit of extra time to let it breath would be nice.
Well crap. My original Xbox's DVD drive stopped reading discs. Not a huge deal, as I can rip them on my PC and transfer them over, but it sucks that it adds steps. I just want to buy a game and play it. I've got a second Xbox, might try swapping drives.
Pseudoregalia is easily my favorite game of the past 4 or 5 years. It's easily among the best platformers of all time. I love how it looks, and the controls feel amazing. I've replayed it several times, and it's always a blast.
