We need to call for people to really examine at the violence at the US border as it’s been this way for decades. It came for us the past year and a half in major cities far away from it, lashing out at many innocent people being injured and killed - just like how it is there.

The New York Times@nytimes.com · 3d agoFederal officials recently started threatening to seek criminal charges against two county sheriffs in Minneapolis and Chicago — cities that have experienced some of the most intense immigration enforcement of the Trump era — who have declined to give ICE access to inmates subject to deportation.
This is absolutely who is in power within the Republican Party at this time. White supremacists are firmly at the helm and there should be absolute opposition to the theory of bipartisanship with these people who want to further the goal of ethnic cleansing in our country.
