Read JD Kirk’s DCI Logan series before. This didn’t disappoint. 1st time reading DI Ryan Wilkins. Loved it. Intricate plotting, but the heart of it is Wilkins’ relationship with his polar opposite partner, the similarly named DI Ray Wilkins. Pacey & surprisingly tender. Definitely picking up more.

Been on my TBR pile for ages, but finally got to this & glad I did. Not a huge sci-fi/fantasy reader, but this really pulled me in. Time travel plots can be confusing but the author keeps everything on track. The setting is brilliantly realised & the characters are diverse & engaging. #booksky
