Listened to a dispatch from a dad in Gaza on NPR this week. He said they were rationing food and trying creatively to explain this to his small children. One day he saw his child gulping water but couldn’t bring himself to say stop, bc he didn’t want that to be the last thing he said to his child.

It's been obvious from the start that the Israel attack on Gaza would end up killing the hostages. If Hamas didn't kill hostages already, the IDF's bombs might kill them, or Israel's dehydration of Gaza will. Sick that Israel is effectively killing the victims in whose name they pretend to fight.

Really not the time to do this. Threads could’ve stepped up and offered a better alternative to that other platform that’s become a disinformation hell hole.
