Run entirely by volunteers, Mbird.org raises funds for music education programs for children and young adults. The Foundation has issued more than $2.2 million in grants since its founding in October 1996.

We’re excited to announce nine new tour grants today, totaling $18,000 - one in each city in which Phish is performing during its summer tour. Grants will help fund new instruments, pay teaching artists, subsidize lesson tuition, purchase uniforms, and much more.
