Very brief thoughts on the new Spider-Man

Thoughts on the dead singer. Yesterday, my middle aged straight hairy biker son went on one on social media about the dead singer and those eulogising him. He did not hold back. What was unusual was that he took to social media to vent knowing it would attract vile bile. I asked him why.

Took the family to the new Spider Man today. We all really enjoyed it! This iteration of spider man has really grown into one of the best MCU heroes.

Loved this book. We listened on a long drive and I think everyone, especially white dudes like me, should take the time to learn about history from people who’s lived experience may not align with dominant narratives (and narratives of domination).
