Here's a simple one. Asthma. Up until 97 or so, I was on 4 different inhalers that barely got me through a day with out a debilitating attack. Growing up constantly sitting in bed and suffocating. Until Singulair. A single pill a day dramatically changed my life.

Food, man. Food is so much better than it was in 1986. All of it. Poor-people food, restaurant food, fresh food, frozen food. Food is just a hell of a lot better.

air travel is one of those experiences that has gotten monotonically worse over my entire lifetime

question though: has *anything* in the last 40+ years genuinely gotten *better*?

like, there's *more* stuff, sure, but is any of it *better*?

NINTENDO DIRECT ENGLISH V/O: *low register* In a world ruled by dragon blood, a hero must rise and slay Wyverniax… NINTENDO DIRECT ENGLISH V/O: *next slide, in high register* Return to Stinktown with your buddies as you wield the new Megaplunger! But watch out…something reeks!!

it's nice out, summer won't last forever, sun up for a while longer tonight but seriously 82-0 how're you going to give me Charlotte from the 1980s TWICE in five spins

I read this this morning and it was a welcome addition to the shitty discourse around the Blazers. It's been a shit year for us fans and as much as I hate to say it, the only way out is through. But Sean does provide a much clearer path through now.
