Burned all my thrifting luck for the next decade. Stumbled onto this amalgamation of a Leitz 135mm Hektor and 35mm Elmar on glued together body caps for $12...... They're both in very rough shape optically but still!!!
Also I managed to get my KW Pilot Super's bottom shutter piece to finally work reliably! Actually changes speeds too unlike my Pilot 6. It's getting added back to the test pile again when I'm back from vacation in a week along with the 118 Kodaks, Primo Jr, and a Minolta A-2.

No thoughts about the OoT remake but this. With the assumed rush of people to buy a real Ocarina pleeeeease don't buy the Nintendo one or a cheapie Amazon one - they'll probably stink to play. Get a Night by Noble or a ceramic clone from Songbird or STL - much more usable instruments.
Rolls for half-frame day are pictures! If anything the Ecofilm makes UFX 100 faster than box - definitely dense negatives. Scanning later tonight probably.
Getting my half-frame day rolls prepped in the Patterson - first time I'm changing developer in a while. Trying out Bellini Ecofilm - a liquid xtol clone. Hoping the softer grain may be advantageous for half-frame over my usual HC-110.
With the Medalist back from a CLA I figured I had to do at least one glamor shot before I load a test roll. Figured I'd match it's energy and bring out my ZD back. Such a silly and inconvenient camera back with simultaneously lovely early big CCD/CFA colors.
Happy worldwide half-frame day everyone! Still slowly chugging through my second roll on the Pen-F. Got my shirt just in time yesterday. Twisted my ankle on the way to work yesterday so my photos will be mostly inside my house this year (and just as the weather is clearing up too). #wwhfpd26
Portable Dagor-ish update - still no luck on the Icarette's bellows. Holes keep popping up and the fabric paint drying a bit sticky isn't helping. I gave in and ordered a Patent-Rollex for the 6.5x9 Niklas. That arrived today but it was mislabeled. Fits 9x12cm instead - so going on my 9x12 Zeh Zeca.
Test roll for the Plus-X is pictures - think I overdeveloped this one/may have a chunk of fog over time. Definitely not too usable at iso 125 anymore - think 62 looks decent but may even like more light.
Went to prep my second roll for half frame day and immediately ran out - looks like my year with UFX 100 is up. It's treated me well but I'm on to other pastures. Next I'll be using this nearly 40 year old Plus-X roll I've been looking forward to. May do a quick iso exposure test roll first.
I know the point of half frame is size but the weather has been messy the past couple days so I've been a bit bored. Had to pull out ...the abomination. (Ironically this smaller 4.75" Cinephor can't get to infinity because of all the plastic and metal in the way - may have to grab my 7")

Happy half-frame shooting everyone! My Pentax 17 has an ECN-2 roll I'm saving for a trip later in the month and my OG Pens have gotten too hazy as of late. Looks like I'll be sticking to my Pen-F and Pen D3 this time around. Today I've got the 25mm F/4 with me. #wwhf

Oh, heck, it's September go shoot some half frame. Or buy an Olympus Pen—I'll give you advice on choosing a model and servicing some of them if they need (not the F, that's a whole other thing). Or get a Pentax 17. or a Kodak Ektar H35N. Don't get a Fujifilm X half, they've nothing to do with this.
Got a Signet 35 for $9 last week and got it working. This little Ektar is solid! Just need to find a Perfex or Clarus MS-35 with that rare f/2 Raptar for my fancier mid-range post-war American rangefinder grouping. All UFX 100 as usual. #believeinfilm #filmphotography
Finally got my entry into 127 - I've been trying to buy one of these the past couple years but keep having poor luck with ebay bidding or Japanese auction sellers cancelling. This one was advertised as hazy but cleaned up nice enough (still not perfect). Cute little thing next to my 6x6 TLR.
