my biggest takeaway from the Giants at the deadline is, despite what they will say, their focus is on building a competitive team starting in 2028, not 2027

Carlos Gutierrez was also included in the Miller/Mayer deal. Bummer to lose him.

I can't believe Sam Hentges and JT Brubaker are still on this team but Heliot Ramos is not.
I’m a dyed-in-the-wool Yankee hater, but I hope Ramos makes the Giants regret trading him. Just seems like an 80-grade human.

During a brief interview here in Arlington, he mentioned several times that he can’t wait to be teammates with Aaron Judge. He’s also excited to hit in that ballpark (a great fit)
Despite my grumping, I do understand trading Heliot Ramos. BUT: ° Homegrown All-Star ° Broke the LF curse ° Only righty in the history of Oracle Park with a splash hit ° Infectious energy and work ethic, beloved by fans and teammates and media members THAT'S memory making, Buster. Bigotry ain't.
