I've been cooking with progress on a full book for my worldbuilding project, named TOWN OF THE VALLEY! As a little bit of a teaser, here's one of the characters that was introduced in a later chapter, Meet VIXEN! More info about her in alt text :3 - #digitalart #furryart #conceptart #artsky

Name: Vixen
An arrow points to the top of her head, to the black halo of thorns that is above her head, saying "only appears to Aneajus (the goddess of death), & her clergy. (sign of death)"
-Extremely malnourished
-permanent neck scarring
-back covered in tickets & warnings from cops
-Very bad handwriting
-Addicted to Anticholinergics (Deppressants that were perscribed b/c she'd fight cops
-Smells like garbage
-Ear tag is from fur farm
-Constant dry, gravel-ey, low voice.
It is reaching for its tazer in its bag, that it uses to light the anticholinergics.

Vixen, or 'Tewan', as she was nicknamed by her family, grew up on a fur farm, originally not having a lot of time to live, she resorted to... Less than moral options to prevent her from dying. After getting the favor of the one who ran the farm, she led a breakout, curb stomping her 'owner' and breaking out her friends and family. After a long few months of losing family members and searching for a home, they found Easton, a seaside kingdom on the edge of Corc's territory.
After moving in she found herself in an arguably worse situation. Unable to be out in public without a collar, and constantly prescribed a slough of drugs by her vet to prevent her from lashing out, the only way she was able to find a place to live was by relying on a beastfolk-centered bar in a reformed factory, where she had slept at the bar and became its unintentional caretaker.
Over time, her own trauma caught up to her, causing her to attempt to end her own life, only to be given a "second chance" by a higher power, giving her the black crown of thorns that typically only stays on corpses and those blessed by the goddess of death.
