🚀 Job Market Candidate @mcsentis.bsky.social is a brilliant scholar on the Economics job market, studying how public policies shape family dynamics. Her JMP shows that mandatory paternity leave persistently reduces severe IPV—mainly by enabling mothers to exit harmful relationships early.

📉 The findings show that women whose partners qualified for mandatory leave faced a persistent reduction in IPV. 💡 This result is driven by an increase in separations allowing women to exit harmful relationship before violence escalates. 👉🏽 sites.google.com/view/mcurull... @mfeliu.bsky.social @ub.edu
