From time to time I toy with the idea of organising a conference composed entirely of tea, coffee and lunch breaks.
75 years ago, Musgrave and students estimated the distribution of the US tax burden by income groups, concluding it was not as progressive as generally considered. The paper generated excitement and controversies, notably on the def of the income basis and the incidence of the corp income tax
