I have assembled my 'new' computer. I'll post a breakdown later of what I purchased and what I cobbled together. Building it physically was the easy part. Then I spent two days wrestling windows 11 and making dozens of programs work, whose settings I hadn't looked at in a decade.

I have ordered all the parts needed to build my hopefully new computer. \o/ I will be re-using a case and hopefully a CPU cooler. (If there isn't enough clearance for RAM I'll have to buy a new one.)

Today I did some lifting, some biking, finished a picture, did my taxes, got some help sorting out some computer related things... And somehow none of it feels real. I've been having this problem for a while now where nothing I experience feels 'real'. I don't know what to think of it.

I know the whole owlbeast form represents some awful things... but I just can't help but love the design. And. I love the idea that accepting the owlbeast as part of her gave her the owlbeast form instead of the harpy form. (And I made her huge because I'm me.) #owlhouse #owlbeast

Just visited the doctor, and had some blood tests done. They literally couldn't find anything wrong with me. No infection or inflammation, no damage to my heart, no fever or anything. Doc still said it was good that I had it checked out. (In fact, he thinks I should have called emergency services.)

Thought I was doing well. Worked my damned ass off. Walking, biking, aerobics, lifting, dieting. I felt great and thought I was in good shape. Boom, I wake up with a pain in my chest - almost certainly pericarditis. No idea where it came from, no other sickness or fever to go with it.

Today I decided I'm taking a brief break from my excercise and weightloss program. I need to create something or I'll go insane. Managed to make a start on a combination picture, not sure if that'll work out. And, did some sketches that went nowhere. Hopefully tomorrow will be more productive.

Tweaked this pic with new info from the Exodus gameplay trailer. (Looks good, but humans meh.) Awakened animals have a device on their forehead that vocalizes their thoughts. Dunno if it's an implant or a thing they wear, I like to think it's the latter. Also made her bigger and added some color.

Temperatures have gone down a bit, so it's perfectly doable for the moment. Love to be back to excercising and drawing. One annoying thing about this though - I struggle to draw much of anything when I'm trying to lose weight. Being tired and hungry just kills my creativity. I'll need to alternate.
