A suicide booth but when you put in money all it does is annoy you until you forget why you're even there in the first place. "You want a knife?" *Slides out spoon* You want to be gassed? *Blows out weed* "You want to use pills" Hands you a Pez dispenser Tells you bad jokes and sings off key

"Pronouns used to be a funny joke, Hank. Until the government tried to tell me I couldn't use them anymore. So now I'm adamant about making sure trans people are gendered right. Not for their sake. But because I'll be damned if the US government is going to tell me what words I can and can't use."

Happy riverboat brawl day to all who celebrate! Today is the 3rd anniversary of the Montgomery Alabama river boat brawl! Also, Nathaniel Alexander, a Black man, patented the folding chair we use today in 1911

an artist rendition of the Montgomery Alabama River boat brawl including a painting of the men and women fighting on the dock the man swing and the young gentleman swimming to the fight

Also on teyvat, it's taboo to know the origin of words. The power or words can create. The power of memories can also create. It's almost as if Teyvat is a book being stored on a computer.

Was playin genshin and the story is reminding me of that one star trek tng episode where jordi asked the computer to make a sherlock villain smarter than Data...especially at the end when the villain learned he was on a ship, operated the doors, stepped out, and instantly vanished....

I can't tell ya how many times folks in my own community beat my ass just because i wanted to fucking learn. So seein how things are now...I really shouldn't be surprised and should probably shut up about it.

One thing I remember from high school was when a black speaker came in to talk about career paths and he had asked the students to quiet down for like ten minutes before he bust out with "I'm done with you stupid ass kids. I already got my check, where's yours? on those poles in or on them streets?"
