After a fantastic conference in Montpellier with @mebconf.bsky.social, where we shared #MIRECLIM results, we’re back in the field on our peatlands. Blooming cottongrass, cranberries, and stunning peatland views remind us why we love this work. And pesticide-free cereal field, simply beautiful!

At @mebconf.bsky.social I presented my current work on modelling of #snow ❄️ & #microclimate 🌡️ in the European #Alps. Looking back at our icebreaker event on the first evening of the week, at Montpellier city hall! 🎆 We had a discourse from the vice-president of the Montpellier metropole, translated live by Nolwenn Le Guyader 👏🏻 Scientists are not welcome in Montpellier... They are already home!

My colleagues Dr Richard Streeter and Yajie Zhu (both from @uniofstandrews.bsky.social) present our work on tundra vegetation and microclimate at the @mebconf.bsky.social conference in Montpellier. My first outdoor poster session! Many thanks to POLARIN for supporting our work.
