The virtus dormitiva of opium. "Dialectic" - when it isn't just two people having a conversation about something with some aim of accord - is a seriously pernicious, mystifying hocus-pocus of mentalized rhetoric. "Things" are not speaking. "Events" are not speaking. Even "Ideas" are not speaking.
Well, this is the most interesting thing I've read on the Odyssey film. Not enough to make me want to see it, but enough to be glad I thought about it - and the epic - in this way.

Well, after all that pre-slander, Supergirl (2026) was actually enjoyable. Several good to even excellent marks on it (especially if you grade it on an All Comic Book films curve).
