Google says I spent more than 5 days on a ferry sailing from Hampshire to, er, Hampshire. And it reckons that ferry crossed the South Downs. Amazing, if true. Film rights available.

I'm no economist so would welcome help to understand how the apparent answer to our economic woes is to make London more like Manchester. Doesn't this ONS data suggests the opposite is true?

Benson in Oxfordshire, Wisley in Surrey and Heathrow Airport are often cited as the hottest places. There may be even hotter spots but these are locations where the MetOffice has monitoring stations.
