forgot to post my finished 21xx. i’ve been collecting gmk beige for years specifically for this build. 21xx cherry mx2a ergo clears, stock gmk 9009, gmk vint keys, gmk beige addon (r0 f-row), and gmk alt grrrrr (the center key in the cross nav)

Finally got around to cleaning and bolt modding my Model M. The lights are showing it's receiving power, but I might need a better ps/2 to usb converter. Fingers crossed I don't need to replace any internals - it was a bit tedious putting everything back together

A bad life choice came in the mail. I'm tired of fancy pricy keyboards with half the keys and being old "Just use overlays, bro." by SMEs when I complain. Why pay more for less?! A year waiting and a few hours of assembly, and now I have too many buttons! I now have to program most of them...

A repulsively large keyboard sits on a desk in front of a nest of assorted cables. Behind the keyboard is a Commodore 64. Slightly over half the keyboard's size. The main key cluster contains additional keys with unclear labels, such as FUNCTION, BEGIN, and HYPER. The cluster to the right is a common numberpad. The cluster to the left is completely foreign, including labels such as TTY, OZZY, and DEBUG. Random keys from other keysets are present due to a shortage of keycaps in the kit. The top left cluster is mostly blank, and uses leftover keycaps from the keyboard kit. F1 and F2 are present. The large top center cluster is completely blank with an exception of the bottom row, which has F3 through to F22 The top right is a mirror of the top left cluster, except F23 and F24 are installed rather than F1 and F2.

Dipping my toes back into the "Forty percent" scene to see if "Alphastagger" works better for me than true ortholinear did. DIY #mechanicalkeyboard using Signature Plastics DCS keycaps from a grab bag, tactile switches, and an RP2040 MCU. Structural elements laser cut or 3D printed.

This is by far one of my favourite 386 machines, the Acer AnyWare 1100LX (1990), complete with detachable mechanical keyboard. I've upgraded the ram from 3MB to 5MB, so I'm running memtest on it, love how clear the screen is.
