I’m on my 50s and very excited about my new washing machine. Living the dream. Son will be dreaming the dream because it’s directly below his bed and the old one was very very loud in its last months.

One of those situations where I miss the old Twitter where you could @ companies. My preferred local Sainsbury’s has only 1 wheelchair trolley which is broken & has been for weeks. So I went to Lidl who have two wheelchair trolleys. But their doors are broken & won’t open wide enough. Got stuck.

What if we saw the world through the eyes of a child? Human rights would look like armour, rules, and justice. They belong to everyone. They can be violated but never destroyed. They treat us all the same. Respect them. Live them. #HumanRights #ECHRImpact

Les Mills has died. About 15 years ago I was at a meeting at Falkirk Council where someone announced partnership with "lay Mills". Even once the pronunciation was clarified I was confused, because to me he was better known as a former Mayor of Auckland. Always preferred Precious McKenzie anyway.

Aww. My favourite random World Cup stat just got superseded. FWIW it was that Scotland and NZ only both qualified once before (82) and ended up in the same group. Scotland won 5-2 but if remains both teams best ever performance. Except NZ just drew with Iran 2-2.
