AuDHD Chronically Ill

@megcastiel.bsky.social

Late diagnosed AuDHD with multiple chronic illnesses. I will likely say something that's not quite right, so please be patient with me. My brain goes faster than my mouth does, and I don't get all the words right every time. Don't ask for my real name.

"The irony is the existential threat to American freedom came not from these terrorists in Afghanistan but from our nation's response to terrorism." Turning Point: Generation 9/11 on Netflix

This only matters if we hear genuine acknowledgement from the Democrats that THEY are the problem and not the voters. There also needs to be some serious conversations and bridge-building with various marginalized communities, low wage workers, and the poverty stricken.

I enjoyed seeing something always seen as so shamefully geeky and nerdy being embraced so widely. As someone who enjoys YA fiction, there is far worse writing out there, and there's far better. The stories are compelling, but it's not worth it. So, let's get a book list going!! ⬇️

The reason that the Harry Potter apologists won't just read better books is because they're not looking for good stories...if they were, they wouldn't have glommed on to Harry Potter. They're looking for the camaraderie and social phenomenon that Harry Potter was in the 2000s.

I'm moving to my first stage of the appeals process for SSDI. I was denied because the assessor believes I can simply find different work. I have type 2 Narcolepsy, rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, Fibromyalgia, IBS, endometriosis, Reynauds, ADHD, migraines, cPTSD, panic attacks, and more. 1/7

Well, first of all,not surprised at all. Secondly, I don't need a cure, necessarily, unless you can get rid of my IBS so I can eat garlic and cheesecake again. I DO need better care management and care coordination. More below. 1/6

What's the point of having health coverage if you can't get healthier by it? I swear, these people don't care if you're healthy. They don't care if you die. They care about dollars. #Repost doctorerinnance Your time has come Big Pharma ranters #littlemissdiagnosed #mialmd

Well, Jeff, punching up is considered satire and the left who are cracking the guillotine jokes are typically lower class. Punching to the side or down is generally seen as serious. The J6ers were mainly upper middle class and above.

I just got new 👓. I had to get bifocals as Medicaid won't cover progressive lenses AT ALL, for any reason. Years ago, in the UK, the NHS covered my first pair of progressive lenses due to migraines, nausea, and dizziness. The US government doesn't give a 💩that my 👓 are making me sick, though.

Vice ran an opinion piece last month from a psychologist that many will read as a researched and science-based article because it's not labeled as an opinion piece. Shame on the psychologist and shame on vice!! More details below ⬇️ www.vice.com/en/article/a...

A Psychologist Has a Blunt Theory About What’s Really Driving the Male Loneliness Epidemic

The issue may have less to do with being alone and more to do with how men are taught to name, handle, and share emotions.
