Early on in my career, this is what helped me save up money for my big move to California. $25 here. $50 there. Short blurbs for a local car seller. A VOICEMAIL for a small company. Either it bought my meals for the day or it went towards a 4-year “moving out” fund. Now the small jobs don’t exist.

All those little sustaining jobs where someone just needed a quick thing for $50 to $200 are just gone.
Did you know that you have the power to shape cons? Emailing cons with good experiences you had goes a long way. Vendors you enjoyed? Panels that were a blast? Decorations for photos? Tell them! If its always bad it can be a bummer. Toss good in there for more of what you enjoyed 🥰

Kinda want to talk about this piece a bit... I love to draw animal meat for not only the textures but it's also and acceptable type of "gore" we see in our every day. I definitely need to explore this concept more.
