Fuck the EHRC, fuck Labour, fuck the Supreme Court, and fuck everybody else that made it happen or stood by and did nothing

The UK's trans segregation laws came into force today, in an attempt to eradicate trans people from public life. I've no intention of complying now or ever. To paraphrase RATM "Fuck you I won't pee where you tell me"
Sometimes I wonder if I want to play a game, then I browse the Steam store page and see things like this... Sufficed to say I've been playing it a ton just like we had to run it on the family PC in the late 1900's.
Helping someone setup a podcast on Apple's connect site. Got a page that was placeholder text. Had to sign into apple music, and then sign out of the first site, clear cache and sign back in, for the broken page to display. I thought Apple was supposed to be "easier" than the rest.

The unlawful destruction of a banner reading "Yes, it's a genocide" has proven costly for Veolia, which has paid £27K to protest group LBD

Was at a party with lots of other trans folk. Somehow we ended up playing "can you do your old voice?"... like all dumb/awesome games alcohol was involved. Thankfully that ship sank long ago... though I can do a half decent "I'm Batman".

Regulator gives Tories green light to keep saying ‘welfare is spiralling out of control’… even though it’s not

A great thread and also why I'm always for "Set a price you are comfortable selling at". A sale price is a floor for you as a dev, but ceiling for customers. Don't devalue your work beyond your comfort point.
"Indie games will save us as AAA shoot itself in the foot" the players say as they refuse to pay prices where indie game dev is viable for anyone that isn't a millionaire. Let's look at the economics of Silksong as an example.
The Charities Commission is now urging charities to be transphobic... They've stated "biological Sex" and it's still undefined by court, ehrc, gov, cass, etc. Fuck 'em they are just another transphobic ghoul of an org. www.gov.uk/government/n...
Charities urged to prepare for compliance with EHRC Code of Practice
Charity Commission offers interim update on provisions of EHRC’s code that clarify the law on matters of sex and gender

🚨 Bridget Phillipson remains as the Minister for Women and Equalities After FWS Phillipson publicly stated that trans women should use men's toilets. She recently signed into force harmful & discriminatory statutory guidance which will devastate trans lives. Suggests no change re. trans rights.
Might as well call them the Minister for Magic Beans. Actually thinking about it that's not fair, magic beans would at least produce some beans, whereas "AI" has less than zero value
Minister for AI to sit in Cabinet 👀 www.thetimes.com/article/c10e...
My convicted violent neighbour that is the only cause of crime in out little cul-de-sac has installed CCTV that overlooks everyone and the dead end. Oh and he's started a campaign of harassment against other neighbours too... so this is an escalation of his abuses. Police say it's fine though. FML
Segregation and abuse as UK law... Never thought we'd see fascists win here. Or that they'd be a Labour gov. Along with EDM603 this shows that voting Labour does indeed get nazis. Fuck every MP that didn't stop it and that mouldy bitch funding the hate.
New: the EHRC’s code of practice is set to come into effect on 5th August, after the minister made a commencement order that has now been published. More to follow. www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2026/78...
Wake up and find that Labour MPs are pushing a motion against Amnesty International reporting on the transphobia and anti-rights movements in the UK. The list is the mould crones phone book, and has been removed by Amnesty, so there's nothing here but attacking because the mould owns them.
When I criticize Dems in the United States who waffle on transgender issues, its because I don't want them turning into Labour UK, who pretty much has fully espoused transphobia and is enacting extreme harm on trans people in that country far worse than the conservatives had done.
The fact that not a single MSM outlet has reported on JK Rowling threatening Amnesty International into silence & forcing them to censor factual reporting is horrifying & shameful. There’s not been a more egregious attack on free speech & human rights in the anglosphere’s recent history
The list that has JKR frothing at the mouth.... It doesn't even list her terfy anti-rights "womens fund", just the contact list of her phone.
Here's the list of anti rights groups in the UK as documented by Amnesty International.
I loved Sam Neil since I saw Event Horizon as a young adult... One of the first I could pick out by name rather than face. He had many great roles, but none more surprising to me than when he appeared as the accused on an Australian comedy drama called Rake.
fun fact: i only learned months after I'd written it on the US site that this story nearly had kotaku uk (who had automatically republished it) blown into low orbit
Report: Warner Bros. Games President Says Transphobe J. K. Rowling Has "The Right To Hold Her Opinions" - Kotaku
Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling is a transphobe. Maybe someone could let Warner Bros. Games president David Haddad know that that should be called out

Amnesty International put out a major report documenting the influence of UK based anti trans gender critical organizations and their funding. Within hours, GC groups threatened defamation lawsuits and Amnesty was forced to pull it down. Proving the point they're anti rights. Anyways, here it is.
My home has been a council house for 100 years, I'm just the latest tenant. Out of the 8 house here, only 1 has been bought.... that's 700 years rent for an initial outlay to the council of less than £500. Outside of the good they represent, affordable housing is stable income for councils.
I have made a Cobra Bounty/perverse incentive sized mistake with my cats. They get a treat for catching flies and moths... They show me, get a treat, then I dispose of the fly/moth But they must've found a moth nest today, as every 5 mins they bring in another large moth for a treat.
Someone dies and the "Don't speak ill of the dead" crowd appear. Fuck that. If you attack me, my community, or other minorities then I will celebrate your passing and take great joy in you no longer inflicting harm on people. Get in the fucking ground, at least your corpse will feed the worms.
You only have to remove human rights from one demographic to be a far right, fascist government. Labour are a far right, fascist government. If you think that’s hyperbolic, and that the demographic they’ve dehumanised and removed human rights from don’t matter… …then YOU are a far right fascist.
The BBC once again justifying my decision to never have a TV Licence.
I mean, this fucking caption, BBC. Not "Nigel Farage responds to allegations" or "Nigel Farage speaks about personal donations". You might as well have the headline "Nigel Farage has done nothing wrong" and be done with it.
The cats know they aren't allowed on the kitchen sides. Looks like one has already found a loophole... she's proud of this spot.
Interpretation of ECHR rights is already limited. What Labour is saying here is they are going to ignore them. This makes human rights conditional upon what group someone belongs to, which really does mean you have to hope no-one decides in the future your group shouldn't have access to them. 12/
Same as above, work visas already exist and Labour has banned them for many people from countries with high asylum rates. These are smoke and mirrors routes rather than safe routes, aimed at ensuring fewer people can access asylum in the UK. 9/
