There are ways that even liberals can be guilty of micro aggressions. I just witnessed one, where a white man was trying to get signatures for a progressive petition and asked everyone around me, even though I do live in the city and I am registered to vote and sat with a friendly smile. Sigh.
I often remind people that there’s just as much good in the world as evil, and that evil wins when it convinces us otherwise and we give up hope. News often focuses on the negative, but we need to be careful. Cruelty IS on the rise globally and to maintain Good we need to actively stand against it.
