the noise in the stadium after *that* Gyokeres touch on the dribble was very funny. Same noise you get in audience before a show or when a gig is filling up. That hum you get when hundreds/thousands of people are all chatting. Likely everyone was pretty much saying the same thing

The reason Tzolis reminded me of Pires so much straight away isbhos efficiency in everything he does. He's not going to roast a full-back but his brain & combination play means he doesn't need to. Other than Gerrard at Anfield Pires didn't generally beat people it was with one-twos & head up link

4 away games now on 3 different competitions so the squad meeds to be fully utilised. I imagine Max starts in CC and maybe Timber gets some minutes? Everyone will be needed and used. Tough spell

I love Tzolis on that winning goal. So positive and intelligent. Immediate thought is to be decisive. Don't think he gave the ball away until 85th minute. 3 assists in 4 games plus created Saka Coventry goal. Production.

Tzolis not seen much of the ball because we are excessive down our right but every time he's been involved he's prodictive. One excellent break starting on edge of our box, quick feet, strength and link with MLS. The set up for Kai was really intelligent. He's open all the time for big switch

My only concern is Odegaard lack of physicality. He's been good but quite a few times just brushed off the ball and half arsed in the tackle. It's a really physical game so balancing act between his technical quality and weakness

I hate seeing sweeping generalisation about groups of people. But Chelsea fans are the most arrogant, obnoxious, odious, knuckle dragging arse-wipes that exist. And i hate them.

Anyone know where Ethan played yesterday when he came on? On BBC lineup they had him down as coming on for the left-back (injured) bit assume he didn't play there.
