Good-faith concern on this issue would be going, "hmm, professional sports leagues should probably have some standards in place to ensure trans competitors aren't getting an unfair advantage," googling for 5 minutes, realizing every sports league already has those standards and dropping it.

i don't believe anyone has "good-faith" concerns about trans women in sports in 2026. there's been too much time to hear the actual evidence, the actual people affected, and the role the debate plays in attempts to purge trans people from American life. anybody picking that side has made a choice

I've finally had the time to work on something I was quite looking forward to: volumetric rendering of the polarimetric RGB. In this example you can see a deep TDS, with a large debris ejection occurring from the storm's top after a violent tornado hit Washington (IL) in November 2013.

Have not learned the art of videoing while trying to watch a tornado with my own eyeballs. (~5:12 pm near Washburn, IL). Solo chase day meant smiling and waving as the supercell cruised by.

The second significant tornado we documented yesterday impacted Streator, IL. We were going through town when it roped out so I did the best I could to capture it. On the last shot I was busy taking pictures of the utility pole damage and didn't notice the new tornado lurking in the background.
