"Zohran isn't progressive enough" "Abdul isn't progressive enough" okay but have you noticed that they keep getting MORE progressive? Take the win. Eventually we'll elect a real progressive like Bernie

when the most recent Decemberists album came out I saw a post that was like "a 20 min outro about Joan of Arc? sorry but pass" and it's like, okay, but did you listen to it cuz it's got Mike Mills of R.E.M. on bass and one of the lines is "bring on duke or dauphin, blood will flow like a fountain"

Listening to The Hazards of Love by Decemberists and the backlash to indie concept albums in the 2010s was a psyop this shit is good

Bluesky CEO Toni Schneider: "We really need their money. Those dipshits are the only ones stupid enough to click on ads anymore and nothing else is working. We tried selling t-shirts. We tried to do the app thing where we get people's phone numbers. Nothing. We need that money so fucking bad."

Bluesky's new CEO Toni Schneider on the platform's reputation for being a liberal bubble: "Yes, we definitely want that to change. It is already changing. It certainly wasn’t designed to attract one specific group of people."

@kenjennings.bsky.social Hey Ken. I respect that you're trying to protect the bag, as all true Mormons must. and this will blow over but not to the people you hurt, who are upset mostly because you turned out to be just another self-serving asshole who hides his flaws behind faith think about it

So, here's the thing, okay? Here's what you need to know the moment they start asking you to "sign in with Bluesky" or etc as an identity provider, ala Google, you fucking hit the bricks. no questions asked and remember: we used DNS just fine without attaching domains to political opinions

cool, I was wondering when this place would become a fully unusable martech slop grinder instead of only a really shitty blueprint for one

Hi Brendan. I'm going to be as gracious about this as possible: have you considered that nobody would ever hear about whatever this dumb fucking chud is doing without people like you hate-farming clicks on his behalf? This isn't news, this is you trying and failing to be a journalist

Jake Lang unveils a banner at Cedar Point Shores Waterpark in Ohio reading “Stop Muslim Takeover of Democrat Party!!” and calling for the deportation of American-born U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed

perhaps we shouldn't have handed responsibility for educating people to "content creators" in the first place the 'edutainment' space on YouTube has always been dogshit, which is what happens when you create an entire culture out of spewing information into the atmosphere in exchange for ad revenue

it all just sort of makes sense, now, huh. all this shit was just generated by AI and he believed it all enough to parrot it on his podcast, and his fact checking team had to clean up after him this is a really massive blow to popular science. Everything is in question now. does he realize this?

i think the solidarity among the liberal media class in furious transphobia is really interesting from a revolutionary perspective, because these peoples have tied their careers to a political hate movement, and the end of that hate movement spells the end for an entire echelon of the upper class

Pretty crazy stuff if you haven't seen it - a game store owner had a box of Super Mario/Duck Hunt carts that turned out to be - brand new - manufactured in 1993 (!) - an extremely late variant unknown to collectors nintendowire.com/news/2026/07...

We discovered a new variant of Super Mario Bros.

Inside, were 97 individually wrapped, brand-new copies of Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt. Each game was wrapped in the same baggie that would have come in an

this is the only correct take and it's honestly hilarious that people don't seem to understand that LinkedIn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Microsoft Corporation, one of the principal parties responsible for this mess this button exists because people *aren't* engaging with the slop

Maybe I'm just being cynical but I expect LinkedIn is using our outrage and disgust as motivation to train their AI slop to be less detectable.

i put these photos together in this order and called it [coastal visions] ; i think it flows well with the imagery connections and parallels. i know i’ve posted these all before, but i wanted to share them in the long form collection i had envisioned.
