Watching Masters of the Universe with my Gen X husband, and I wish we’d seen it in theaters. Not because it’s good, or even fun-bad. It is not. But in the theater, Brian couldn’t spend the whole movie explaining which of his friends had which toy set from each scene.

For 4 days at SDCC I tried to look my best/most professional. But bc I underpacked (for once) I ended up in of my husband’s T-shirt today…and after an unfortunate incident with my last skirt, I wound up pairing it w/cheap I ❤️SAN DIEGO shorts. Rolling through the airports with a very specific energy.

Help me with my homework? Next Friday I’m running a panel at Comic-Con called “A Day in the Life of a Comics Writer.” (Panelists and descriptions below.) I’ve got some starter questions, but I thought I’d outsource this to Bluesky, too: what do you want to know about how comics writers work? #SDCC

As ridiculous as American politics have become, we still have nothing on the fact that every British election is loaded with VERY REAL candidates that can literally only be described as Children's Show Host, Very Specific Fetish, or Power Rangers Villain. The below post is 100% fucking serious.

🚨 BREAKING: Labour says it won't stand against Nigel Farage in the Clacton by-election As it stands, only Count Binface will run against Farage

As a reader, this sounds so exciting! As an author, my brain is exhausted just thinking about the research required. 😆 Congratulations, Paul!

www.thebookseller.com/rights/the-b... Here it is, if you can read Bookseller articles! I have a two book deal with @thebrokenbinding.bsky.social starting with Oh Fortuna! Which is a romp though an alternate history where everyone’s pantheons of gods are real!

MAN FINDS TAPE, an indie passion project made by a bunch of friends here in Austin—and funded by me and Jess—has dropped on Tubi. Looking for a good, creepy horror film to watch this weekend? This is Found Footage at its best and weirdest. So proud to have been a part of this. Find it on Tubi!

“A disturbing little horror movie made with remarkable confidence and insight” MAN FINDS TAPE arrives on Tubi tomorrow.
