After 7+ years, I wrapped up my gig at Amazon Web Services (AWS) on Thu 4/30. I am leaving incredibly thankful for all the things I've learned there. As an old open-source community saying goes "same team, different employer", I will continue on the Team OpenTelemetry, stay tuned. #aws #goodbye

AWS just shipped native OpenTelemetry metrics support in CloudWatch. This one got buried under the S3 Files announcement, but it deserves more attention!
