Resurrected my 10yr old game Oddhop. It was a mobile game that has been long gone from app stores. Wanted to preserve it for archival purposes, so I'll be releasing it as freeware Windows-build. Seems to work fine in Linux w/ wine, too. Guess I'll play the puzzles through, it's been years!🥲 #gamedev

#SteamMachine is out! Shame about the pricing, thanks to AI bros... 🙄 I was mildly curious about getting one, but with the unfortunate pricing, gonna have to pass. I do most of my gaming on Linux PC anyways, but for living room this would've been nice next to PS5. Can't beat the form factor!

#GodotEngine 4.7 is here! 🎉 Like a cult classic movie, Godot 4 has only gotten better with age; the 4.7 Director's Cut offers colors of never-before-reached intensity, helming a bevy of new features to eliminate any remaining friction between you and your vision! godotengine.org/releases/4.7/

Godot 4.7 Release: Lights, Camera, Action!

Like a cult classic movie, Godot 4 has only gotten better with age. This brings us to Godot 4.7. With 3 years under its belt, the 4.7 _Director’s Cut_ offers colors of never-before-reached intensity.

#Godot 4.7 is shaping up nicely! Best features for me: Control transform offsets (finally!), vertex snapping & remote scene tree improvements! 👍

Here's #GodotEngine 4.7-dev3, and it's feature-packed with great workflow improvements! 🧃 Control transform offset 🔎 PopupMenu search bar 🧲 3D editor vertex snapping 🖼️ Android Picture-in-Picture 📚 MeshLibrary editor 📸 Linux Wayland HDR ✨ And a lot more! godotengine.org/article/dev-...

Exactly a year ago I installed #Linux on my main PC and switched. Having now spent ~98% of that time in Linux it comes as no surprise that I've been really happy with the switch! Some issues here and there, but overall very nice. I'll try to write a blog-post about this. 5/5, would switch again! 👍

The gears have been set in motion: ordered a new NVMe SSD for a #Linux install on my main PC (desktop). Going with a dual boot (for now). Seems that most, if not all things I require for work can be done in Linux. Will be interesting to see how it goes! 👀

#Godot 4.6 is out, and all about your flow! This release puts you and your workflow first with a new theme, flexible docks, and dozens of UX improvements. And Jolt Physics by default, revamped IK, better reflections, and more. Less wrestling with UI. More making games. godotengine.org/releases/4.6

Godot 4.6 Release: It's all about your flow

With the stability gained over the past five releases, it's time for polish and quality of life improvements for everyday development.

Finished #Cyberpunk, started Phantom Liberty yesterday. Really good game IMO; perhaps not entirely what it was hyped to be, but solid stuff. The highlight for me is the superb aesthetic that nicely captures the Blade Runner vibe! 👌 As a life-long BR fan that's a huge bonus. GG, will play again!

Related to the GPU change, finally started playing #Cyberpunk2077! Bought it on release day for PS4, never played as it was half-baked. Waited for PS5 version but somehow never got around to it. Now playing on #Linux PC! 👌🤘

As GPU prices may go up soon (hopefully not as much as RAM, ouch! 💸), I bought a RX 9070 XT from Black week sales. #Linux driver support is better on AMD, although TBH it wasn't too bad with my old 4060 Ti. Nice speed boost in games, even if RT stuff is slower than Nvidia. Uses way more power tho..
