When armed conflict disrupts daily life, families can struggle to afford food, replace lost belongings or meet their most basic needs In 2025, we supported 2.43 million people, including 1.51 million internally displaced people, with essential items or cash to help them rebuild a sense of stability.

For families separated by armed conflict, even a few minutes of contact can change everything. In 2025, together with Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies, we facilitated nearly 4,000 phone calls every day to reconnect separated families.
