hmm, i've about had it with the bloor street "car lanes" experiment. literally no one uses these things. how can businesses expect to survive when there's no space for customers to linger?

A commercial street in old Toronto with two bike lanes, two general traffic lanes, and a row of parallel parking. Apart from some parked cars and a bicyclist, the street is mostly empty. Oncoming cars are visible in the distance.

Rowling is going to leverage every bit of her wealth to either destroy Amnesty through litigation or through the court of public opinion with the British press. The stories will not stop for months. The daily mail and others will run nonstop coverage hounding Amnesty employees and leadership.
