Yes. I have two old lady dogs. Molly (18 next week) is too smart and she knows life can suck sometimes. Kelly (17 in October) is always happy and ‘bless your heart’ dumb. I love them both. :) I am holding Kelly.

one of my strongest beliefs is that we're in our situation right now bc some of the most prominent talking heads (e.g. joe rogan, andrew schulz) are learning about politics in their 40s and 50s, instead of their teens and early 20s, and we have to go along for the ride as they learn basic things
This is my Molly on her heating pad. She will be 17.5 next month. She is a grumpy, but sweet old lady. She got out of bed this morning long enough to eat and do her business. :)

Federal agents aren’t trying to keep the peace. They want violence to escalate so that Trump can declare martial law. They shot a reverend in the head with pepper balls while he was praying in front of an ICE facility. If that doesn’t tell you where we are as a country, nothing will.
We’re headed for the first shutdown since the last time Trump was in office. The framing of trying to give Medicaid to illegals is absolute nonsense. The average family of four is paying up to *$1500* a month on the insurance marketplace. Dems wanted to help. GOP refused.
NEW: Republicans refused to change the rules to fund the government with a simple majority, & failed to pass a funding bill. Fetterman, Cortez-Masto, & Angus King voted with republicans to fund the regime - but came up short in the end. THANK YOU to Schumer for not voting to fund this government.
Dear @apnews.com The republicans control congress. Democrats did not vote down anything. If the GOP wanted to fund the government, they could have changed the rules to pass a CR with a simple majority like they did 11 days ago to approve 48 trump appointees at once. Fix your headline.

The real issue isn’t left vs right. It’s not white vs black. It’s not citizen vs immigrant. It’s not gay vs straight. The real issue is that a lot of powerful people have a vested interest — and a lot of money invested — in dividing us, and it’s working.

Very good insight. I did not realize that Justice Jackson views this differently from the other two liberal justices. Good for her. History will judge all of them, and Roberts will be excoriated as more time (decades/centuries) goes by.
