In the UK, thanks to legal protection and conservation action, long-term monitoring shows that population trends for 5 bat species in Great Britain have increased and 6 remain stable since 1999. We are still a long way from recovering from historical declines, with 6 species on the national Red List

Another bat caught on fly-paper yesterday. The 2nd brought to me in 2 weeks. Dead on arrival: horrible lingering death.
