What a beautiful evening of cultural exchange in Glasgow Central station where fans and athletes from across the Commonwealth get to interact with thousands of drunk teenagers heading to the Calvin Harris gig ❤️❤️❤️

Walked past a delightful conversation between two men yesterday just outside my flat: “too many lefties around here, man. Fucking weirdos.” I don’t think you can choose to be present in the *southside of Glasgow* and complain about this?!

I can see a world in which England win this game, I can even see a world where they get through the semi-finals! But I cannot see a world where this team doesn’t get found out quite badly against the French

Yeah, sure, Facebook is basically horrible and unusable these days and exclusively for elderly relatives posting AI slop. But every so often you get the gem of someone in a local community group posting that their two snakes have escaped and getting to enjoy the hundreds of comments.

I am seeing too much pessimism from England fans about their chances tonight. This is not good because: 1) if they lose, no one is that upset 2) if they win, it’s so much worse I think it will be close! England are a much better team imo, it’s just if a hugely partisan crowd/altitude is enough
