Jessica is on site this week working with a court to figure out what helps people succeed when they visit a court website. She’s on tour, visiting at least two other courts this month.

Wrapped up my first site visit for my @free.law Litigant Portal project. There's no substitute for seeing the challenges pro se litigants face firsthand & learning from the incredible court staff. I've got pages of ideas to make the Litigant Portal more helpful, intuitive, and powerful!

I haven’t posted much lately because I’ve been busy building. What have I been building, you ask? I have been building Nomolith. Long thread follows! 🧵

I can't stress enough what a crisis this is. Trump's own intelligence agencies concluded that Iran attacked Minnesota's critical infrastructure and Trump is saying that it's Minnesota's own fault and denying it was Iran. The federal government won't defend blue states in a literal war.

Investigators cautioned that the assessment was preliminary. There were no indications that any water supply had been rendered unsafe to drink.

President Trump had (loudly) promised that he would ask #SCOTUS to grant rehearing of its June 30 decision blocking his executive order purporting to limit birthright citizenship. The deadline for such a request was yesterday—and ... crickets.

Wait. They all shake hands at the end? What are we even doing here? He's the US President suing you for $20 billion for reporting on the birthday card he sent his friend the pedophile in which he drew a naked girl & mused about secrets. And they all shake hands?

Remarkable camera angle of President Trump as he listens to Wall Street Journal reporters receiving an award for their investigation into Trump’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein — which they pursued despite Trump’s threats and lawsuit.
