To see the Catholic Church implicated in this is disturbing. To see the Church implicated by a bishop's presence is alarming. To see that bishop applauding after outrageous garbage uttered by Trump & others is appalling. To see that bishop then distorting Pope Leo's anti-war message is scandalous.
Is our regime stupid and evil? Yes. But is it still just an amazing time to be alive? Also yes.
This man (& his behaviors) must be investigated & held to account when appropriate.
