Disney has reaffirmed the Avatar stuff at Disneyland is still happening in their fiscal update, which benefits me, the only person that wants that.
The pivot to this is still preferred over the AI bs they were gonna originally do but it's still not a welcomed thing.

Every few years Weezer is like "We have strayed to far from God's light and must return to sludgy power chords" before returning to something that doesn't hit with their core audience and "C.E.O." is literally them going "OK, we'll give them what they want." and I happily receive that.

Man, the USPS lost a package about a week ago and it was 2 pieces of art from someone I've been collecting for years. USPS won't do anything about it, so I reached out to the artist's team and they said they'd ship them out to me again, but they only sent me one of the two pieces.
Over the weekend I had an unfortunate experience.
This demonstrates both how social workers are criminally underpaid in most parts of this country and also how those in helping roles are exploited because it was never about the money for them.

Just saw a post come across my feed saying MCU Peter Parker has ethics lapses because he's not a journalist in this universe but when Peter works for the Bugle he snaps masked self-portraits and sells them as unaffiliated news so I dunno if I'd tie his ethics to being a journalist.

I'm a Disney adult but I'm not the level of Disney adult who complains about the new cast member uniforms for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and I'm pretty happy with where I've settled in. You may be surprised at how many people have reached that rung on the ladder, though.

I love Michael Giacchino but I do think his Spider-Man scores are more serviceable than they are stand-out for his repertoire. It's a Mario vs other games/Mario vs Mario situation. His Spider-Man stuff is better than most MCU scores, but I find them middling when pitting him against himself.
One thing I can promise you is I will never ever use generative AI. All of my bad photoshops will remain handmade bad photoshops.
