Amazing to me that the Mayor of LA sent out an email update on her plans for climate action improving infrastructure and there's zero mention of bike or bus lanes, Measure HLA, first/last mile to Metro, or anything else that would actually help reduce VMT. Instead it's about EVs!

Meanwhile in Japan… Having an amazing bullet train system with 4 minute headways since the 60s wasn’t good enough so they’re doing this. I’m so tired of the US spending nearly all its transportation money on car infrastructure. I want nice things in my country too.
