Quantum physicist at the QOT Centre for Quantum Optical Technologies and Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw. https://qodl.eu/ Interested in quantum sensing, Rydberg atoms, quantum memories and cavity QED and quantum optomechanics.

I was making a GUI application for a scientific camera (beam fitting functionality, Shack-Hartmann detection, various shutter and trigger modes, etc.), but it's always mesmerizing to make it look at its own image :)

Our quantum technologies on their way to space application! We are launching at University of Warsaw (a special purpose company UWRC Ltd.) a project for the @esa.int. Research underpinning this technology has been enabled by the Foundation for Polish Science. www.qodl.eu/esa-uw-news-1 🚀 ⚛️

Are you tired of not being able to apply the RWA in your atomic system, because there is no time-independent frame because you have many different transitions leading to the same level? Here we have a solution, particularly useful for Rydberg receivers! arxiv.org/abs/2412.07632

Atomic-optical interferometry in fractured loops: a general solution for Rydberg radio frequency receivers

The development of novel radio frequency atomic receivers brings attention to the theoretical description of atom-light interactions in sophisticated, multilevel schemes. Of special interest, are the ...

Predatory publisher MDPI is trying to influence the Polish government to prevent them from giving low scores for predatory journals, asking scientists to support them in this letter. I encourage Polish scientists to do exactly the opposite, and support the current project proposed by our government.
