If you’re looking for a team to root for in the WPBL, you might want to consider the New York Heights. Rachelle “Rocky” Henley is the only woman manager in the league, and she’s been involved in women’s baseball for decades. She also played for the short-lived Colorado Silver Bullets in the ‘90s.

The WPBL announcing that their historic debut and inaugural tournament will only be available behind the ESPN paywall just days before Opening Day is certainly a choice. Not to mention that ESPN is terrible at baseball.

Concussions in sports still aren’t taken seriously enough so this news about Billy Ray is extra sad. Pour one out him and Junior Seau too while we’re at it. 😢

To Kershaw, the Giants players, and all the other homophobes in baseball: I really don’t want to hear that there’s no harm intended after what happened in Berlin yesterday.

Why didn’t any of you tell me there’s a new baseball movie coming out next year?? Very exciting!!

Can you imagine if we had to watch Padres players all smiley and shaking hands with the orange monster? I’m not sure I could handle it.

This makes me sad. It’s HSK bobblehead night in Atlanta. He should never have left SD and I don’t know whose fault it is but I’ll start with Boras.

It’s weird to me that Padres baseball staff or players pay any attention to what’s said on social media or DMs. I don’t see how that’s beneficial.
