We basically did a family Big Walk LAN party across the house this evening. So fun. Let me tell you how wonderful it is that this game lets you crossplay between macOS and Switch 2 (and PS5 and PC). I wish this was standard behavior for multiplayer games. Big Walk did it right. Bravo! =)

This morning it appears Google decided to deactivate the Google account I’ve had for decades? Like, my original Gmail account. Before there was the concept of Google accounts, I had this account. Why do I feel like some AI auditing system is behind this? Well, hopefully the appeal goes… fine? 😅😂💀⚰️

Spent a bit of time this past weekend on my silly space battle game, Super Space Fighter. Added a nicer effect when you hit the arena boundary with your weapons. Also some tuning of weapons. Also started on a little web based arena editor. 😅 Try it: superspacefighter.com

I hadn't uninstalled Adobe's software from my MacBook Pro since unsubscribing from Creative Cloud. Look at all this trash they've installed! Software they run in the background just so I can use their 40 year old bitmap editor. 😓 (but the devs working on Adobe's uninstallers are doing god's work.)
Just freed up 50GB+ on my 500GB MacBook Pro by cleaning house of these giant Electron apps and their massive cache/data folders in ~/Library/Application Support folder. 10% of my storage back. Insanity.
Apple TV shows look good but like too good. Too much. I look at the names in their nice fonts and the very nice poster artwork and then the preview starts and I just swipe away. I can’t do it. It’s too much. I can’t get involved. These are high maintenance shows to me.
Arco was my movie night pick. Beautifully animated. I mean, terrifying vision of the near future but as this Summer plays out it’s looking at least partially correct. 😬

In macOS/iOS 27 being able to describe Safari Extensions and Shortcuts and the system builds them for you is so very good. I just built an extension that rips every image, gif, and video from a webpage and shows me a grid for saving. Took 30 seconds. So good.
Experimenting with the new parental controls in macOS 27. A nice way to allow my son a bit more freedom on the computer but… he can just spam the “Request for more time” button? Good lord. 😂
I don't know why but I added some shortcuts to make it easier to add stamps to my website. Hold ⇧ when drawing to create straight lines. ⌘Z works. Right-click to fill the area with the current color. ⌘ will mix your selected color with the color on the canvas and find the closest palette color. :)
