Casper Andersen and I are really excited that our special issue on history writing after independence has now been published. In the issue, we are looking at how institutional and epistemological factors impacted the process of history writing in the aftermath of independence. 🧵

My mom passed away a week ago after struggling with cancer for the last year. Over her life she has done many things and played many roles — including creating the architectural design of the wintergarten you can see in the top picture.

Aye. Heard today that my university is closing UG History, Philosophy, English Lit, Linguistics, and Creative Writing in one go.
