in this age of generative AI smoothing out people's brains, I'm so glad that people talk about the joy of creating. the creative process as effort and expression and having something to say. the urge to Make Something despite all odds.

Mihra's aether is mostly neutral, but the massive amount of Light that she was forced to contain on the First partially altered her biology. Her body adapted under that strain and, although no significant Light remains active within her, two of her children are later born with Light-aspected aether.

Yes, because life just sucks sometimes. 🤷‍♀️ Mihra's story has moments of light and happiness that contrast heavily with the darker scenarios of her past. Her trauma supports themes of autonomy, vulnerability and rest, but she doesn't exist in that state. Above everything, her story is about healing.
