Well, The Keep was certainly something. Worth watching for the incredible visuals, but don’t expect “characters” or “a story” per se. but this is the kind of movie that should get a remake - incredible potential, but unsuccessful. Imagine someone like Villeneuve or Lanthimos remaking that? Ho-boy!
Op! I know why they cast Ian McLellan as an old man in The Keep now - a scary smoke cloud just turned him young. Should have seen that coming.
Someone should remake The Keep very soon so Ian McLellan can play the same roll, but not in bad old age makeup this time.
Watching Michael Mann’s The Keep for the first time. I know it’s a mess and unsuccessful, but 10 minutes in and so far it’s one of the most stunning looking films I’ve ever seen. My god!

Binging season 3 of euphoria. I don’t know why people are so hard on this show. It’s sleazy and exploitative but I think that’s the point. I watched the first 2 seasons way after they came out and was theroughly entertained. And I’m enjoying this season even more! People expect too much sometimes.

On Crave (Canadian streamer) some masterful design work by Sony, who apparently think people don’t want to watch specific Spider-Man movies, but rather just the concept of “Spider-Man”. So sure, make them all look identical! After all, it is just “generic Spider-Man shaped product” right? 🤦♂️
This was something a lot of housing advocates saw coming a mile away when the immigration cuts were announced. The fundamental stance of Canadian cities is that they prefer high prices to building housing. They love high prices. Easing off immigration was never going to change that.

I tried to explain, based on my experience in housing advocacy, why I thought that was unlikely. Immigrants were just a scapegoat for governments who didn't prioritize new homes. I wish that I had been proven wrong.
