Watching #4corners, I recall working — many decades ago — in Immigration Investigations. Any — and I mean *any* — attempt to investigate farmers for any legal violations, of any kind, for any reason, no matter how easily provable in court, was immediately shut down from the political level.

For some reason Strava just reminded me of my longest-ever bike ride (Bright-Harrietville&back). As it happens, I’ve just watched highlights of the 1st stage of the Tour de France Femmes (about to watch the 2nd). 137km vs 55kms 🤔 Their average might have look more like my max speed.🤭 Perspective.
