Today @docker.com model runner when GA, so I thought I'd share a project i have been hacking on. This is a Home Depot animatronic skeleton that uses DMR, @elevenlabs.io, and Vosk to enable a real-time AI-powered voice chatbot. Pi front end, windows PC running DMR with llama3.1.

Three blocks of protesters in Albany - which, for the uninitiated, is pretty solidly DJT country. Saw a small group of counterprotestors in another part of town. They looked sullen.
Just drove down HWY 99 in Tigard. 3-4 deep on both sides of the road for several blocks. Signs, flags. Women, nb, men. Seniors to babies. Different races. Very inspiring.

You know what you could do for pride? Skip the drag brunch that everyone and their mother goes to and go to the vogue ball. The balls are primarily queer POC, many if not most of whom are genderqueer or trans. These are our most marginalized communities. Go celebrate them and bring your cash.

This is a great documentary. It tells the story of the flooding of Vanport, and it's affect on the Black community in Portland - effects that still reverberate today (unsurprisingly)
