Use every man after his desert, and who should 'scape whipping? STL

A is the correct answer as it includes the Door (WI) and Leelanau (MI) peninsulas, two of the most beautiful places in the nation. Unfortunately, you can't afford to live in either now that the new money climate and COVID refugees have joined the old money already there.

For the next 40 years you can only live, work and travel within one region of the Midwest. Which one do you pick? More about the Midwest: brilliantmaps.com/us-midwest/

AI sucks the intellectual rigor out of every process. Check the slop for confabulations and sophistry? National security, high stakes legal matters, medical diagnoses, bombing target? Nah, f*ck it. It's like leaving your teenagers home alone for the weekend with a sports car in the garage.

Found this at a great little toy store in Petoskey, MI, and couldn’t pass it up. Grandkids are going to love it. Daughter and SIL are going to want to kill it with a hammer.

A children’s toy that plays 5 different dance beats. They toy is in its display box which features a bearded, shirtless cartoon man in sunglasses dancing. The name of the toy, 30 Second Dance Party appears within diagonal, primary color stripes.

Don’t like the self-serve coffee set up bc I, a black coffee guy, sometimes have to wait for the “with room” people who enter a trance as they slowly stir, add a lil more cream, stir, sort thru Splenda packets, rip, stir…

I feel like these things breed in the cupboard as each trendy new mug hits the scene, faster than I can send them to Goodwill. When you wonder, what happened to my Stanley? It’s me. Oh, can’t go in the dishwasher? Nope.

Chicagoans, you’d have to be out of your mind to skip this. O’Shea’s book is fantastic, and he and Makkai are so wicked sharp and funny, they might just warp the time-space continuum.

I left the classroom almost 20 yrs ago, but I still have the same late summer anxiety nightmare: I’m a new teacher, don’t know where my classroom is, nor what grade levels I’m teaching, much less a lesson plan.

As it turns out, I’m in Detroit for work right now, had planned to go to this game, decided against last minute bc of rain/early start tmrw, then regretted it, then unregretted as I watched Caldero struggle, then Tigers came back, then… I am the squirrel.

Detroit Squirrel update: The Tigers' entire grounds crew went out on the field to try to get that thing out of there and all that's missing is the Benny Hill theme

Terminal 1 Lambert Field 5:00A observations. Dudes with big draft beers—god bless them, kid on his 2nd bag of jerky, guy in a black tee covered with cat hair, woman delivering 15 minute Face Time harangue in Polish.

I don’t live in Michigan, but I direct an assn there, travel there >8X/yr. I read the Detroit News daily, follow online news of assn members, state house, policy institutes. Upshot, all the ads on my TV streaming services are from MI. It’s all surveillance these days.

I don’t know. I did a spit take when Trump gave Davy Crockett a shout out in his Independence Day speech, but then I was like, that’s just a failure of imagination. If you had to guess whom Trump would name if asked to list famous Americans, Davy Crockett would be right there with Henry Ford.

We are retiring bingo cards. Nothing in on anyone’s bingo card. They are useless bingo cards and going into the trash. thank you.
